When David and Vicky moved into their new home, they inherited a large garden which was mainly laid to lawn and relatively easy to maintain.
However, there was an awkward, featureless, sloping area of garden that left them devoid of ideas on what to do with it.
They decided to get the professionals in to help them with the design and build of this area along with a large, raised decking area off the main patio.
Ian & Jason from the design team met David and Vicky and after listening to what they wanted to achieve from the area of garden in question, they set about formulating a design.
It was decided that the best way to utilise the space was to terrace the slope using sleepers and gravel.
As the clients had expressed a desire to incorporate some sort of water feature into the garden, the team came up with a concept design that included a dry steam bed that terminated in a water cascade.
This concept was presented to the clients along with a hand drawn and 3D computer-generated representation.
The budget was agreed and the build commenced.
What was once an awkward sloping site is now a tranquil and relaxing area that David and Vicky can enjoy for years to come.
They also have a gorgeous new decked area, enjoying fabulous views, where they can entertain friends and family.
