Kevin's garden was quite small and fairly private. It had an extensive decking feature which spanned a small stream and had been constructed around 15 years ago. Although Kevin had been very happy with the decking, it was now past it’s best and so he opted for a complete redesign.

 He Says,

“Prior to Ian completing our garden project, the area had a lot of wooden decking, including over a stream, that Ian had laid for us over 15 years ago and so had lasted well but was now in need of replacement. Some areas were in shade and had become slippery especially in winter and others had started to rot due to us putting pot plants on it without protective feet.”  

Kevin goes on to say,

“We had some design ideas but really needed professional input.

We wanted to integrate a wildlife pond into the design and replace the wooden decking with sandstone slabs and small gravel areas." 

 Kevin says, 

“Ian’s company was the obvious one for us to choose due to our satisfaction with the earlier project and other smaller garden jobs he has done for us over the years. We knew he had the ability to listen to our ideas, however uncertain they may be at times, and turn them into a practical reality.”  

“Although the COVID situation and poor winter weather slightly delayed the start, once it began, there were no delays, and the project was completed on time and within budget. Throughout the time period, Ian was amenable to slight changes of plan and contributed his own thoughts as to how the project could be slightly altered and improved.”

And finally, Kevin says, 

“We now have a garden that is just how we hoped it would look, built of high-quality materials and completed to a high level of quality by Ian and his team who were on site throughout.

Industrial quantities of coffee and biscuits are all that is required!”
